About NPLCC

Community centre at the heart of Bridlington

New Pasture Lane Community Centre has served the Bridlington community for years, providing a range of services including the Breadshed — a food pantry running two sessions a week for households across the local area.

When NPLCC saw the funder reports CrisisConnect could generate, they commissioned foodConnect to run the Breadshed from day one. It has been live since February 2025 and is now the first member of CrisisConnect Network.

NPLCC is also a founding member of the CrisisConnect Network CIC, helping to shape how the network develops for community organisations across the UK.

The platform

What the Breadshed uses

CrisisConnect replaced spreadsheets and paper records from day one.

foodConnect

Visit recording, household management, spend tracking, and till screen — all from a tablet at the pantry door.

memberConnect

300+ households registered, with demographics, contact details and membership history maintained automatically.

Funder reports

Reports that used to take hours are generated in seconds — visit counts, household demographics, spend data, all export-ready.

"The funder reports it generates in seconds would have taken us hours to put together manually. It's changed how we demonstrate impact."
